A colorful and fun raku fired ceramic box with a very curious duck guarding its contents. The box itself is a riveted old steamer trunk reproduced in clay. This was made when I had just started to play with the concept of steampunk.
Of course the duck is way too large for the steamer trunk, so she has to hang over the edge watching your every move.
Hand built, slab box with lots of texture. This little duck is ready to travel!
