A wheel thrown jar with a sculpted turtle on top and carved turtles swimming 'round it. Glazed inside, the outside is treated with iron oxide and the pot is high fired in reduction. This is a lovely shaped jar, with handles made to look like turtle flippers - a serene and quiet piece.
Stoneware, 10 x 7 inches. Good to store cookies in!
