This beautiful iridescent chubby mouse carries on his back. He is glazed in a cobalt raku glaze that is accented with beautiful copper flashes. Little does this mouse know that there IS a cat on his back!
Lift the cat, and inside is a roomy and secret place for treasures.
Wheel thrown stoneware in 2 parts, with hand built cat and mouse parts, and a long, coiled mouse tail. The mouse is balanced on a pedestal with some lively dots. Raku fired.
