Here is Olivia in her ballet costume, her fine feet delicately displayed in a pair of toe shoes. She is simply so ladylike in her elegant froggyness - no matter where she is or what she is doing about town. Always perfectly turned out, Olivia is particularly gorgeous here, I think. The delicate costume and sash suit her well, and the beautiful blue of the box really sets off her stunning froggy complexion.
Olivia is one of my favorite invented clay characters, and I love telling stories about her in relief sculpture on my clay story boxes. Here she sits, as usual, on the lid - quite fashionably accessorized! She would make a fantastic gift for a small or grown-up ballerina in YOUR life!
